Love Shots for Valentine’s Day

by Liquor Wine Time

In a healthy relationship, every day is Valentine’s Day!

So said a wise Man. But the 14th of February is a designated special occasion when we do something extra for our significant other. People usually take their partners for a night out ,or prepare something cosy and memorable by the fireside!

But this season of love and glee, we’ve come up with something fabulous

Create these unique love shots that are meant to take you back years, to the time you first gazed in your special one’s eyes and realized this love is forever!

Prepare the shots in advance, and as the night progresses, get drunk in love!

  1. Big Bang

Life may have started with a Big Bang, but Valentine’s night sure should end with one!

Channel all the ancient, cosmic energy that got you here, and brew this lovely shot to feel the power of the present moment.

“Love is like a Bomb,” said Def Leppard, but we like to think it’s like the Big Bang! This recipe is made for two, and you don’t need an ounce more  because it’s simply scrumptious.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz 151-proof rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1/4 oz triple sec
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Dash of bitters

Steps

  • Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
  • Mix well.
  • Strain into shot glasses and serve up!

  1. Kamikaze

We recommend this cooler drink to soothe down any passion that may have arisen in the course of the night to a fever pitch!

Valentine’s Day is about good old heartwarming love!

If things get a little too intense, take a quick break, head to the kitchen, and whip up this super easy drink before heading back to enjoying the special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz vodka
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • A splash of Lime juice
  • Lime wedge to garnish
  • Ice

Steps

  • To a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, triple sec, lime juice and ice.
  • Mix well.
  • Strain the potion into a shot glass.
  • Garnish the shot glass with a lime wedge.
  • Omit the garnish if you’re in a hurry!

  1. Prairie Fire Tequila Shot

We highly recommend this spicy concoction with a notorious reputation backing it for those lovers that are fire on fire!

Are the ingredients really compatible? Tequila and Tabasco? Did your tongue just do a crazy backflip at the possibility?

This shot isn’t for everyone! But it is a Godsend for those daring, all-or-nothing lovers that can’t spend Valentine’s Day without a challenge.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. tequila
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco

Steps

  • Pour the tequila in a shot glass.
  • Add 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce.
  • Serve up and guzzle immediately.

  1. Cranberry Vodka Syringe Shots

No shot in the world can get you higher than a shot of True Love, but alcohol sure comes in a close second! Invest in a couple of syringes from a party store so you can serve these delectable in them. The recipe is easy, and its pleasing carmine visage is enough to make your eyeballs and tastebuds, fall in love with it! A great way to inaugurate the day indeed!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 4 oz chilled lemon-lime soda

Steps

  • Mix the cranberry and vodka together.
  • Extract this luscious red libation into a syringe.
  • Fill half of the pint glass with lemon-lime soda and place the syringe.
  • There are two ways to drink this. First, you can either take a shot of the syringe, and then chase it down with lemon-lime soda. Second, you can empty the syringe into the lemon-lime soda, and then quaff it down quickly.
  1. Flaming Dr Pepper

As a symbolic commitment to always keep the flame of love burning for your Shunamite or Solomon, make these Flaming Dr Peppers this Valentine’s Day!

Careful though! You don’t want to burn the house down with anything but your passion.

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz Amaretto liqueur
  • ¼ oz rum
  • 4 oz beer
  • Bar spoon

Steps

  • Take a pint glass and fill it halfway with beer.
  • Take a shot glass and fill it with 3/4th oz Amaretto.
  • Slowly pour in the rum over the back of a bar spoon.
  • Set the rum on fire.
  • Blow out the flame.
  • Drop the shot glass into the beer.
  • Guzzle it down.

So, with these lovely shots that are easy to make and delectable to taste, your Valentine’s Day (and night!) has got a boozy mate to cheer you on.

Why not squeeze a dash of intoxicating liquid passion to keep it alive, eh?

Cheers!
