Codigo 1530 Anejo Tequila
The añejo is a private family recipe, which is aged to taste for approximately 18 months in the finest Napa Cabernet French White Oak barrels. Tasting flavors are refined, elegant, and expressive - hints of fruit, mingled with oak, touches of vanilla and a bit of spice. Only 5,000 bottles produced for 2019
Nose: The nose is not nearly as intense as it was on the previous three samples. There is a hint of oak which is to be expected after 18 months in a barrel. It was hard to find anything that really stood out on the nose with this one.
Palate: It’s a flavor bomb. Very smooth, there is no burn or any of the typical harsh flavors you get when drinking most tequilas.
Finish: Long, clean finish.
