Kirk and Sweeney 12 Year
Kirk and Sweeney 12 Year is a rum named after a wooden schooner that was known for smuggling rum to the northeast at the start of the prohibition era. Aged in American oak barrels, this spirit crafted in the Dominican republic from sugarcane aged for a period of 12 years, producing a color of mahogany. The sugar cane aromas come along with hints of vanilla, dried fruits toasted oak and caramel. Full bodied and carrying nectar like quality, this rum demonstrates the depths of the aging process but not overbearing the palate. Finishing off in a luxuriously smooth and rich end.
