This is a blended malt named to pay tribute to Masataka Taketsuru, the dad of Japanese whisky. He is the main Japanese who aced whisky-production in Scotland and delivered the bona fide whisky in Japan. Masataka discovered that the characteristic assets encompassing a refinery were fundamental for quality whisky. In view of his idea, he chose two spots, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and fabricated two refineries there. Its delicate malt enhance, fruitiness and greatly very much adjusted taste make it an immaculate passage point into the universe of Nikka.

• A combination of whisky from both Nikka distilleries: Yoichi & Miyagikyo
• Matured in a combination of sherry butts, bourbon barrels and new American oak
• Named after Masataka Taketsuru, who is considered to be the father of Japanese whisky
